The Roofing Company That Started on the Other Side of the Claim

We're BigFoot Roofing & Gutters — a husband-and-wife roofing company founded in Eagle Mountain, Utah, by two people who spent years working as insurance adjusters before they ever picked up a shingle.

We watched homeowners get shortchanged on legitimate storm damage claims — not because the damage wasn't real, but because most roofing contractors didn't know how to document it, speak the insurer's language, or advocate for what their customers actually deserved. So we switched sides.

BigFoot Roofing & Gutters exists because we believed homeowners deserved a contractor who understood the full picture: the roofing work and the claim behind it. Three years in, that founding principle still drives every inspection, every estimate, and every project we take on across Salt Lake, Utah, and Tooele Counties.

Phone Answered. Every Time.

When you call BigFoot, you're reaching real people. Our company is run day-to-day by the owner and spouse — not a regional manager, not a franchise coordinator, not a revolving crew of seasonal subcontractors.

You'll know who is on your roof. That matters to us as much as it matters to you.

Why BigFoot?

We get this question a lot, and we're happy to answer it.

The name comes from something we wanted to stand for: a big footprint in the community, and small-company service in every interaction. Bigfoot is local, a little larger than life, and — despite the rumors — surprisingly easy to work with.

We're based in Eagle Mountain, and most of our team lives in the same communities we serve. That's not a marketing line. It's why we answer the phone at 7 p.m. when a hailstorm just came through your neighborhood, and why we show up the next morning.

Credentials You Can Verify, Not Just Claim

We hold manufacturer certifications from GAF, CertainTeed, and IKO — three of the most recognized names in roofing materials. These aren't participation badges. Each certification requires documented installation training, demonstrated quality standards, and an ongoing track record of completed work. Earning all three puts us in a small category of contractors in Utah who have met the requirements across multiple major manufacturers.

We're on the Hook for 10 Years — Happily

Every roof we install comes with a 10-year workmanship warranty. That covers the quality of our labor — not just the materials, which carry their own manufacturer warranties separately.

A warranty is only as meaningful as the company standing behind it. We're a family-owned business with our name on every truck, our faces on this website, and our neighbors as our customers. We have every reason to get it right the first time, and to make it right if something ever falls short.

What It Means That We Were Adjusters First

Insurance claims are confusing by design. Policies are long, exclusions are buried, and the documentation requirements for storm damage aren't explained to homeowners in plain language.

We know exactly what adjusters look for when they inspect a roof — because we were the ones doing the inspecting. That background shapes how we document damage, how we write estimates, and how we communicate with your insurance company throughout the claims process. Our storm damage restoration and insurance claims assistance services are built on that foundation.
